Museum Beskyd Frýdek-Místek


The Museum Beskyd Frýdek-Místek is a contribution organization established by the Moravian-Silesian Region. Its headquarters is situated in Frýdek Castle. The Museum is the administrator of the Castle including the nearby building premises with the Lang Building. Moreover, the Museum is operating the study library. A leased conservation workshop is also a part the palace area as well as a cozy cafe Lu Cafe.
 

The Museum Beskyd is also the administrator of Hukvaldy Castle.

Opening hours:

Monday: Closed
Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 9.00-12.00 12.30-17.00
Sat-Sun: 13.00-17.00 + national holidays (November-April)
Sat-Sun: 10.00-17.00 + national holidays (May-October)


Important information:

The sale of admission tickets ends 30 minutes before closing period!
The Castle exposition takes place every full hour (except 12.00).
Beskydy – natural environment and people begins 15 minutes past every hour (except 12.15).
As part of an educational program the admission fee to exhibits and expositions for children of school age during the school year is 10Kč, lecture lessons at the museum cost 25Kč (including admission).
It is advisable that larger groups of visitors and school classes make reservations to exhibits and exibitions beforehand by telephone or e-mail appointment at (pokladna@muzeumbeskyd.com).

Taking photographs without flash lights in Castle exposition and exposition The Beskids - natural enviroment and people: 30Kč.
Taking pictures 
without flash lights in temporary exhibitions is free during the opening hours.
Taking pictures with flash light is prohibited.
